Free Drop-in Melting Pot session Presented by Paper Works.

Take part any time between 1.30 pm to 4pm

Using a Pre-made relief print plate 4 x6 inches mounted into our Adana Press. The design will be based on the theme of the April full moon ( known as pink, egg or fish ). People are invited to choose a paper stock and operate the Adana press to print a postcard.

The Adana press is manually operated . Paper is placed on the printing platter and The depression of the main handle transfers the ink to the plate , prints and replenishes the ink on the rollers. (NB In the event that Adana printing is found in tests to be impractical we would revert to tried and tested methods using a linocut plate and our hand press)
