Tom Carradine's Music Hall Songbook

Join the moustachioed maestro Mr. Tom Carradine, on the Ol’ Joanna, as he takes you back to “The Good Old Days” of Victorian and Edwardian Music Hall. Tom will perform many of the popular (and less well known) hits of the Music Hall and share the fascinating stories behind the performers who sang them.

Learn about the American origins of “Down at the Old Bull and Bush”, the sorry tale of poverty told in “Don’t Dilly Dally on the Way” and how a song deemed “a dud” by the composers became an award winning hit and the most popular marching song of WWI, to name but a few.
Expect laughs, a few surprises and plenty of audience participation.

Performed and Written by Tom Carradine

Start time: 7.30pm. Running time: 90 mins incl. an interval.
