The Pavilion Sessions

The Pavilion Sessions are ‘come all’ inclusive folk get-togethers and anyone is welcome to join the session and play traditional or contemporary tunes, or sing songs.  The sessions are free to all and will take place once a month on a Sunday at The East Point Pavillion in Lowestoft. Starting at 1pm,  there will often be a ‘slow session’ for 30 minutes where a lead player will play tunes very slowly for those who are improvers on their instrument or for those who may wish to learn a new tune. The full session will start at 1.30pm and go round the room in turn for anyone who wishes to play a tune or sing a song. 

Come along, bring your instrument or your voice and join in, or have a drink from the bar and enjoy a chilled Sunday afternoon listening to free live music.

The Pavilion Sessions alternate with the monthly folk programme of concerts curated by John and Lynne Ward. The programme will feature top, internationally known artists from all over the UK.
