Parade of Planets workshops with graffiti artist, Stane!

Join us in the garden for a hands-on workshop, led by graffiti artist, Stane!
 Help build a spectacular parade of planets for the festival opening. 
There will be two individual 45 minute workshops both with the same content.
With only 10 places on each workshop you will receive expert advice and hands-on guidance. You'll be putting a unique twist on graffiti art by spray painting paper lanterns to transform them into visually striking planets and moons.
*Learn spray painting skills & techniques.
*Create your own unique design to take home
*Contribute to a larger display for the festival parade
 Wet/windy weather plan: We'll switch to decorating with Posca paint pens - just as fun & colourful!

Your creations will be mounted onto canes and carried in the First Light Festivals opening parade on Saturday 20th June 2026

Come along & get creative, make something out of this world and be part of the parade!
We recommend wearing old clothes or bringing a protective layer . Masks will be provided and must be worn at all times while using spray paints.

Places are limited to a maximum of 10 participants per workshop so must be booked in advance

Open to adults, teenagers and children over 10 years. Please note that the age restriction is due to the strength needed in hands to manage the spray paint canisters.
