This year’s First Light Festival opening parade theme celebrates the 13 Full Moons which rise in our skies this year.
Join us at our community making days — the Festival Fundays — where you can create a moon costume to use in the opening parade and learn the community mass dance, The Big Bang Boogie!

Free to attend. All supplies included but bring any tubes, glitter, baubles that you want to reuse.
Parade starts at East Point Pavilion at 11:00 on 20 June 2026.
